HEA Appraisal is a national company founded by Steve Schoeneck. Steve spent over a decade working for Insurance Carriers on the Material Damage side of the claims department. He has worked on the Independent Appraisal side since 2007. Over two decades of combined experience with Carriers and IA's has helped to develop a unique understanding of what each side needs and how to best achieve these needs.

 

HEA Appraisal is a team of people built to complement one another. Each employee brings extensive knowledge to their specific work area. Each employee continues to develop their particular set of skills so that it allows HEA to function at a collectively higher level. HEA staff are focused on being a team and delivering our clients a final product that we ourselves would expect to receive.

We will only accept these types of assignments where we have a fully seasoned appraiser to handle.

 

 

 

 

Additional Services

Diminished Value - as needed, completion of a Diminished Value either using an HEA account or a clients account if preferred. Can be done with a Damage Appraisal or just as a stand-alone assignment

 

 

 

Desk Review - computerized appraisal of damages to include negotiations with the shop/owner as required for an agreement on cost

Total Loss - as needed, completion of a Total Loss evaluation either using an HEA account or a clients account if preferred. Can be done with a Damage Appraisal or just as a stand-alone assignment

 

 

 

Salvage Bids - as required, Bids are obtained and documented with confirmation number if supplied as well as name and phone number of facility supplying the bid

 

 

 

Task Assignments - we offer Cause and Origin Management, Scene Investigations, Police Report procurement, and Recorded Statements.

HEA Appraisal has an opportunity for an Account Executive. HEA is a national leader in vehicle accident damage appraisals, a national network specializing in Heavy Equipment as well as Auto damage appraisals. HEA has built its reputation with a dedicated staff focused on communication with our clients and the quality of our product.

 

Our relationships are primarily built with Insurance Companies, Adjusting Companies, MGA/TPA’s, CPI, self-insureds and municipalities.

 

The position can be located anywhere in the continental United States.

 

Primary Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities.

Develop and maintain relationships with clients.

Regular communication with clients for feedback and added service offering.

Ability to work independently and meet sales goals.

Attend industry conferences as needed.

Qualifications / Education / Skills

Require 5+ years of successful Account Management experience within the Independent Damage Appraisal field.

Contacts in property & casualty claims market.

Presentation and communication skills.

Ability to interact with clients at all reporting levels, Adjuster to Executive.

Willing to travel as needed (average up to 25% per month at times)

1099 Damage Appraiser

 

Looking for experienced appraisers/estimators for heavy equipment, residential/commercial property and private passenger automobiles to handle work as an 1099 Independent Contractor. HEA Appraisal has added property damage (homeowners) to our offering in many areas.

HEA uses state-of-the-art technology to assist in the handling of our clients' files. We will only give assignments that you have experience with and are qualified to handle.

 

If you focus on quality and timely appraisals with good communication skills, you may be a good fit at HEA Appraisal.

 

Desired Skills

5 years of experience as an auto and/or heavy equipment or property appraiser.

Utilize estimating software that produces CIECA EMS and be able to export the EMS.

Be responsive and a good communicator and computer-literate.

Take pride in your work product as well as your professional appearance.

Have and maintain all applicable licensing and insurance, including a valid driver's license with dependable vehicle and computer.

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position.
